Pour Over Brewing: Chemex and Hario V60
The Chemex six cup brewer (AED 350, made in the USA) was designed by the chemist Peter Schlumbohm in 1941 and the hourglass shape has barely changed since. Its thick bonded paper holds back oils and fine particles, so the cup arrives clean and bright, which is what you want from a lighter roast specialty coffee. Keep a box of pre folded Chemex filters on hand, 100 pieces for AED 85.
The Hario V60 takes a different route. Its cone sits at a 60 degree angle, which is where the name comes from, and the spiral ribs plus large single opening hand control of the flow rate to you. Pour faster or slower and the same coffee tastes different. We stock the ceramic size 02 dripper (AED 150, made in Japan), matching size 02 paper filters (100 pieces, AED 45) and the 600ml glass V60 server (AED 170). Ceramic warms up slowly but then holds temperature through the brew, so rinse it with hot water before you start.

French Press and Immersion Brewing
A French press asks far less of your technique. Coarse grounds sit in hot water for roughly four minutes, then the mesh plunger separates them. Because no paper is involved, more oils and fine sediment stay in the cup, which gives a heavier body and a rounder mouthfeel. That suits a chocolate forward coffee blend better than a delicate single origin. Our 600ml French press (AED 150) pours about three servings. For one cup at a desk, the glass Infusion Mug Coffee Press (450ml, AED 109) does the same job in a single vessel with nothing to wash up afterwards.
Moka Pots and Stovetop Coffee Makers
A moka pot forces water up through the coffee bed under steam pressure and produces a concentrated brew that sits somewhere between filter coffee and espresso. The Mini Italian stainless steel maker (2 cups, AED 179) suits one or two drinkers. The induction models cover 4 cups (AED 179) and 6 cups in stainless steel or pastel blue (AED 190 each), which matters in Dubai where induction hobs are standard in most newer apartments.
One point that catches people out: moka pot cup ratings refer to small espresso sized servings of roughly 50ml, not full mugs. If you drink long coffee, size up.
Turkish and Arabic Style Coffee
Our Turkish coffee pot (AED 110) comes in small, medium and large. This style needs a powder fine grind, finer than espresso, which is why Ground for Turkish Coffee appears as its own option on every bean we sell. Brew slowly over low heat, watch for the foam to climb, and lift the pot off before it breaks. If you like the regional habit of brewing with cardamom, our flavoured coffee beans include a cardamom option that saves you grinding pods by hand. Choosing a pot size is really a question of how many people you serve at once rather than how strong you like it.

If you plan to try more than one method, order whole beans and grind at home, since ground coffee loses aromatics within days while whole beans hold them for weeks. If you would rather skip equipment altogether, our Nespresso compatible capsules need nothing beyond the machine.

Delivery inside the UAE costs AED 20 on orders up to AED 200 and is free above that. Dubai orders placed before 2:00 PM go out the same day. Orders to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain placed before 1:00 PM arrive the next day.
