The first thing people notice in our Al Barsha boutique is not the shelf. It is the smell. Bergamot and black tea on one side of the room, freshly roasted Arabica on the other, and somewhere in between a tin of Armenian mountain herbs that someone has just opened for a customer to sniff.
The second thing they notice is that nobody hurries them. You can smell ten teas before you commit to one. That has been the Cantata way for more than 25 years, and it did not change when we crossed the Gulf.
A European brand with a long memory
Cantata has been blending premium teas and roasting specialty coffee for over 25 years. Today the brand is present in seven countries: Russia, Belgium, France, Armenia, Latvia, Cyprus and the United Arab Emirates, across more than 300 boutiques.
Dubai is the newest chapter. Our shop in Al Barsha 1 is the first Cantata boutique in the Emirates, and cantata.ae is its online counterpart, carrying the same catalogue of more than 300 teas, coffees, infusions and accessories to your door.
We Roast. We Blend. We Know Our Craft.
Anyone can buy tea in bulk and put it in a nice bag. The work that takes years is in the ratios, and you can see it on our labels. Our Rooibos Nutz is built on nougat at nine per cent, hazelnuts at eight and matcha at three. Tonka Essence sets coconut chips at five per cent against tonka beans at four. Those numbers are not decoration. They are the difference between a blend that works and one that tastes like the loudest ingredient in it.
Every item on our shelves is the result of that work: ingredient selection, recipe, then endless adjustment until the balance is right. The catalogue runs from single estate leaf to playful dessert blends:
- Classic tea: black, green, oolong, pu-erh and matcha.
- Flavored tea built on black, green and white leaf, plus tea bags and cold brew tea for the summer months.
- Caffeine free herbal tea, rooibos, hibiscus and fruit infusions.
- Specialty coffee, single origin lots, house blends and our dessert range of flavored coffee.
- Belgium Hot Chocolate mixes, and accessories from teapots to storage boxes.
What we claim, and what we do not
Food marketing is full of words that mean very little. Here is the plain version of how we talk about our products.
Full ingredient lists are on every product page. Percentages, allergens, nutrition per 100 g, shelf life and storage conditions, all published before you buy rather than discovered after.
Organic means certified. Selected teas and coffees in our range carry organic or BIO certification and are labelled as such. We do not describe the entire catalogue as organic, because it is not.
Flavored means flavored. Our dessert coffees and teas are made with food-grade flavourings applied to real leaf and real beans. We say so on the pack and on the page.
If a label matters to you, ask first. Allergens, dietary suitability, caffeine content: message us on WhatsApp before ordering and we will read you the pack.

Ordering online across the UAE and the GCC
Orders placed in Dubai before 2:00 PM are delivered the same day. Orders to the other emirates placed before 1:00 PM arrive the next day. Delivery is AED 20 on orders up to AED 200 and free above AED 200.
We also ship to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman at a flat AED 55, free over AED 500, arriving in 3 to 7 days. Full terms are in our Delivery Policy, and if something is not right, our Refund Policy explains exactly how returns work.
