Good leaf and good beans only get you part of the way. The vessel you brew in, the temperature you hold, and the container the tea sits in between brews all shape what reaches the cup. Cantata’s accessories range covers the whole chain, from a AED 20 stainless steel infuser to stoneware infusion mugs, porcelain teapots, insulated travel bottles and airtight storage tins, priced from AED 19 to AED 350. Everything here is chosen to work with the tea and coffee we sell, which is a narrower and more useful filter than “kitchenware”. A 300ml infusion mug is sized for a single serving of whole-leaf tea with enough room for the leaves to open. A 175g storage tin is sized to hold a full retail pouch of loose leaf without leaving a half-empty headspace of air.

Tea accessories holds infusers, strainers, tongs and the small tools that make loose leaf practical day to day. The Tea Infuser Ball Tongs in Stainless Steel at AED 20 is the most common first purchase for anyone moving from bags to leaf.

Building a starter setup
- If you are equipping yourself from scratch, three purchases cover most of what you need.
- An infusion mug, from AED 99. One vessel, one lid, one built-in filter. It removes every excuse not to brew loose leaf on a workday.
- An airtight storage tin, from AED 39. Whatever tea or coffee you buy will taste better in week three because of it.
- A stainless steel infuser, AED 20. For the teapot you already own, or for brewing a single cup in a mug you already like.
Add a thermos when you start carrying tea to the office, and a teapot when you start brewing for other people.
Materials and care
Stoneware and porcelain hold heat well and are the right choice for tea, where brewing temperature drop affects extraction. Stainless steel infusers and tongs are dishwasher safe and will not retain flavour between blends, which matters if you rotate between a smoky black tea and a delicate green tea. Rinse infusers immediately after use rather than letting leaves dry onto the mesh. Storage tins should be wiped dry and never washed with scented detergent, since the residue transfers to the next batch of leaf.
